Ladies Of The Write: Eight Ladies Writing...

Hello Gentle Readers,
As we continue with the Twelve Days of Mimsey, I wanted to remind my audience that I am in fact a writer. And not merely a pretty face.

Ladies....

But, I'm also fortunate enough to have met some really talented writers and John Bayer. So, without further ado, here are eight wonderful ladies who know a thing or two about writing.
Ladies Of The Write: Eight Ladies Writing...

8) Jen Gia

Find her on the Twitter!
Jen's a writer and comedienne, out in sunny L.A. and recently competed in the California's Funniest Female Competition. She likes hats and making hilarious observations. You can read more about her here

7) Annalisa Crawford

She let me write about Christmassssssss!

Annalisa just recently released a new book, which you can find out more about here. She's an awesome blogger and writer, and lives in Cornwall. How can you not immediately love a Brit from Cornwall.

6) KC Frantzen

She's the one on the left.

KC is the only author on this list whose lead character is a dog. A surprisingly competent and well-traveled dog. Seriously, that dog is doing way more cool stuff then I could ever hope to do. Feel free to check out our interview here

5) Jacinta Maree

Don't fear the Jacinta!

Jacinta is an author from the land down under. When she's not combating giant spiders, baby-eating dingoes and fighting crime with Crocodile Dundee she's writing about the lost spirits left behind to help the dead. It's fun for the whole family. You can find Jacinta's premiere here or read the Dan Landis post she inspired here.

4) Elizabeth Seckman

She's awesome!

Elizabeth has been a long-time friend of the blog and has one of the more interesting cast of characters in her books. My latest interview with her is here, but I feel sure the team of Seckman and Mims will strike again before 2014 is over. If you like character-driven romantic drama, you'll love Elizabeth Seckman.

3) T.M. Smith

She brings it!

It's a little known fact, but in addition to being the saucy queen of paranormal romance, T.M. is also a fabulous book blog tour host. 98% of all the book tours I've participated in have been because of T.M. She's a fabulous writer, an amazing person, and gave one of the raciest interviews I've ever done here. She's some kind of wonderful.

2) Donna Milward

The one and only!

A Canadian treasure, the very awesome DONNA MILWARD! has been a stalwart supporter of the blog, a good friend and oh yeah, she writes some of the most insane mythological drama this side of Cthulhu. If you like some good old-fashioned Greco-Roman dustups, an enjoyable sense of humor and your female characters strong AND independent, then go check out Donna Milward. Or just read this.

1) H.K. Savage

An Elite among writers.

Believe it or not, I haven't always been a writer. There was one person willing to take a chance on me, a talented, gifted and hardworking author who wanted to give other people a chance to succeed. Oh, and this fairy godmother also happens to be a prolific and masterful author. She's also the reason I have the most wildly successful post EVER!

Trust me, Gentle Readers, there are plenty more wonderful ladies of the word out there. These are just some people I think you should know about.

Jay Mims writes books, blogs, and recently wrote about what made Disney Princess' tick. Jay lives with The Mimsus, a semi-adopted cat named Eartha Kitty, a lizard named Bob and a passive-aggressive Dalek named Steve. Jay is far funnier on Facebook then in real life. He is terrible at Twitter.  Jay now has a website.
